  • WPA CRACKER – WPA Cracker is a cloud cracking service for penetration testers and network auditors who need to check the security of WPA-PSK protected wireless networks.

WPA-PSK networks are vulnerable to dictionary attacks, but running a respectable-sized dictionary over a WPA network handshake can take days or weeks. WPA Cracker gives you access to a 400CPU cluster that will run your network capture against a 135 million word dictionary created specifically for WPA passwords. While this job would take over 5 days on a contemporary dual-core PC, on our cluster it takes an average of 20 minutes, for only $17.

  • Default Password List – Default password list for all routers sorted by company.
  • Aircrack-ng – Aircrack-ng is an 802.11 WEP and WPA-PSK keys cracking program that can recover keys once enough data packets have been captured. It implements the standard FMS attack along with some optimizations like KoreK attacks, as well as the all-new PTW attack, thus making the attack much faster compared to other WEP cracking tools.
  • 4 Out of 5 Viewers Leave If a Stream Buffers Once – Usability study about users who will leave a website if the video or multimedia buffers even once.
  • Morphix Design Studio – Identity, Pictograms & Webdesign – Great site design and unique scrolling style navigation. Traditional sky background at the top for the portfolio, then horizon line for the home page and underground as the contact.

  • Don’t Let Ads Kill Your Site – I understand the need to have advertising on a site so this isn’t a blast against sites that make top dollar with advertising. This is a plea asking them to take a step back and look at their sites to see if advertising has become the dominant content on their site. Have you ever tried to read an issue of GQ? It’s impossible because every other page is an ad. Some sites can get away with this and there is a good chance that yours isn’t one of them.

What caught my attention on the web in November 2009:

  • WORDOID – Creative Naming Service – Why?

Naming is not easy. Coming up with a catchy name for a product, company or domain can be a real challenge. It is like looking for a needle in a haystack: the right name should sound good, must not be already used by someone else, should have the potential to become a brand, and preferably with as little Google search results as possible.
    How?

Wordoid.com is a webapp that strives to help you invent a good name. It makes up new words. Automagically. It knows how to create words in English or Spanish. It even knows how to create words in an imaginary language, constructed by blending two or more real languages together.
    It is simple to use

Just choose one or more languages, select the preferred quality level, type in a fragment you would like the wordoids to contain, and press Create.
